I have a golden rule - dont eat in/at an empty restaurant. It was around 8.20pm and stupidly I thought that I might be a little early so I sat down, after all the guides say hip and happening. Well beileve me there is nothing hip or happening. We were one of two tables and thats the way it stayed...

The food was average. The wine was expensive. The service poor to bad. Maybe I am being a little harsh given the fact that I bought my own bottle of wine. Not only did I open my own wine but I had to pour it as well. Why the corkage if I have to do all the work?

I really like the feel of the place and I honestly believe it could be something special. Something needs to be done.. The owner was sitting way back in the restaurant - I wish he would have taken the time to come over and say HI. Maybe he was to busy?

I had a look around and the second floor is completely unused - prime property - nothing happening! The waiter tells me this place has been open for 6 months and they are thinking of doing something with the second floor. Well hello six monthssssssssssssss

All in all a disappointing evening. I wont be back - if you go good luck, take your own crowd with...
